Jamie Lee Curtis And NCIS, Jamie Lee Curtis ignited interest in “NCIS” Tuesday night.Her guest shot as Dr. Samantha Ryan brought the CBS drama the biggest audience nationally and locally Tuesday night.

“NCIS” averaged 19.5 million viewers. It was the night’s biggest show with the 18-to-49 age group.

CBS won the night by averaging 15.3 million viewers. The other broadcast networks were way back: Fox with 6.5 million, NBC with 6.1 million, ABC with 5.8 million and The CW with 1.2 million.

CBS easily won the other time slots: “NCIS: Los Angeles” with 15.9 million and “Unforgettable” with 10.6 million.

Fox’s “Glee” drew 7.4 million for its winter finale. ABC’s standout show was “Last Man Standing” with 7.5 million. “The Biggest Loser” averaged 6.7 million viewers over two hours for NBC.

In Orlando, “NCIS” brought in 311,200 viewers in the Orlando TV market. (It was a bigger audience than either “American Idol” episode drew last week.) On “NCIS,” Jamie Lee Curtis’ character clashed with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) before a fascinating fadeout. Curtis was wonderful.

It was a good night for the CBS lineup locally. “NCIS: Los Angeles” placed second with 266,600 viewers. “Unforgettable” was third with 152,700 viewers.
